Interesting: the word ‘sneak’ originates from the dialect of ‘Maas en Waal’ in The Netherlands; the area in which I grew up. The meaning remained the same. The original word is ‘snijk’ and a ‘sneaker’ is a ‘snijker’. 😀 Herman 😉
